In 2019, I was diagnosed with Lobular breast cancer which had also metastasized to my lymph nodes. After my radical mastectomy and lymph node removal, it was time for chemo. I had no idea of the cost after my insurance had paid their part. My daughter and husband helped me apply for their financial assistance and was accepted. I could have NEVER been able to afford the copay I was to pay without their help! Now, 2 years later, I just found out last week the cancer has metastasized 5 areas on my spine and 2 areas on iliac bone, So I find myself having to ask for assistance again. I am on a waiting list but am praying for a couple of miracles...Healthwell is a wonderful organization and I can not ever thank them enough. Its hard enough getting the news "you have cancer" , but not being able to afford the lifesaving medication you need is pressure no-one should have to deal with!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Healthwell....you truly are "lifesavers" in every sense of the word. Sincerely, Terry Crippen
