Words cannot express my gratitude for this amazing organization. I have stage 4 lung cancer with metastasis to liver, bone, and innumerable brain tumors. Never smoked and unfortunately it’s incurable. I was working as an RN when I received my diagnosis. My social worker from the Cancer Center nominated me for a respite. It’s been nine years of fighting and I believe I have been blessed with the extra time. I chose a week at Bethany beach with my daughter and best friend. The house we stayed in was wonderful and the gift cards were an added bonus. Mary Beth was my liaison she was so understanding and made sure everything was in order for us. I can’t thank her enough for all she did. I am forever grateful for Week Away and everyone I encountered. Bless you all!
