I applaud the Elephant Sanctuary in TN. for all they do to educate the public on the plight of wild and captive elephants. Their efforts to provide a permanent home for former retired circus and zoo elephants is stellar. The elephants are provided with veterinary care, healthy diets, enrichment, companionship, acres of land to roam, and the freedom to do what they want to do when they want to do it. My admiration and respect for The Elephant Sanctuary is immense not only for the great life they provide for these magnificent and intelligent creatures, but because of their affiliations with other respectable organizations involved in elephant research and conservation.
