I grew up visiting and having pictures made with Bunny at Mesker Zoo in near town Evansville, Ind. I was so excited for her when she became accepted at the Elephant Sanctuary. We watched her relocation on the evening news. It wasn’t long before we got to go on line and see them free and happy in this wonderful place. Then, for my birthday every year my oldest daughter ,who also enjoyed news about Bunny, began donating ‘ feed Bunny for the day’ gift. So every year I got notice that she was fed in my name on my birthday. When she passed I knew she had spent the last few years of her life so happy. Thank you Elephant Sanctuary.
